"Inspiration comes from my garden and everywhere in nature as well as from magazines and the world of art that surrounds all of us. I like to think that my art communicates the special and unique qualities that we each possess and the gifts that we share with the world.
My worktable overlooks the garden with the Strait of Georgia and Vancouver Island in the distance. When I sit down to create something, I start by trying out new color and material combinations with crystals, gemstones, or glass beads that I have collected from around the world.
Then stitches and ideas start to flow and a new piece unfolds in my hands as I simply enjoy a lovely meditation-like state of being".
